On Friday, May 17th, all 5th graders are invited to participate in the extremely fun Sports Night & Color Run! 🥳

This free event includes classes competing against DCE teachers and staff in student favorite P.E. style games and ends with all of the 5th graders running through the Color Run course while families and staff toss colored powder on the students!

Students & families must PRE-REGISTER prior to May 15th to be able to attend the event

This is NOT a Drop Off Event. An Adult must stay.

5th GRADE SPORTS NIGHT & COLOR RUN EVENT DETAILS

🏆 SPORTS NIGHT: Begins promptly at 4:30pm, the 5th grade classes will compete against the DCE Teachers & Staff Team in some of their all-time favorite P.E. games and activities. This is a free event for all 5th graders to come to and compete with their class however we do require registration and a signed waiver to participate! Each competition will last 10-15 minutes. This is an event that your 5th grader will NOT want to miss!

🖍 COLOR RUN: Following the sports games, ALL 5TH GRADERS are invited to participate in the Color Run! This free event is a tradition at DCE. The 5th graders will wear clothes that they plan on getting messy while running through the Color Run course. We recommend a white shirt to fully experience all the fun colors of the color run. Eye protection will be provided for the 5th graders.

Families that pre-purchase color powder will pick it up from the gate as they enter and will be able to toss it at the 5th graders as they run by.

More Information:

• The gate will open at 4:15 pm.
• Feel free to bring tailgating chairs to hang out and watch the classes compete!
• Feel free to bring a picnic dinner, drinks or snacks to eat during the event!
• Wear clothes that can get messy!
