STEM Fundraiser

What is STEM?

STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math. These four fields share an emphasis on innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking. If your student attended DCE last year, there is a good chance that they come home on their STEM Resource days talking about how much fun they had in this class.

Top Prize: Golden Ticket for the Fall Semester (August - December 2023)

This Golden Ticket allows you to enter the Car Line for Pick up in the afternoon between 2:30 - 2:40 PM (1:30 - 1:40 PM on Wednesdays) and park in the Pre-K parking to pick up your student(s).

 

 

Second Place Prize: PTO Prize Pack

Includes 1 Free DCE Spirit T-Shirt, $50 credit on PTO Event Tickets, 1 Free Rock Reservation

 

 

Third Place Prize: Outdoor Play Prize Basket

Four Square Game Set, Capture the Flag, Hover Soccer, and Kick Scooter

Additional Tickets $1 each or 6 for $5

OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in The Durbin Creek Elementary School STEM Fundraiser Raffle (Raffle), entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of The Sponsor, The Durbin Creek Elementary PTO (DCE PTO), which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to such Raffle. Each Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. No refunds will be given on any previously purchased Spirit Wear, Event tickets, or Rock Reservations. Prizes not redeemable for cash value.

ODDS: The odds of winning depend on the number of tickets purchased in the applicable Raffle.

​

PRIZES: There are three prizes available, a total of three winners will be selected, one for each of the three prizes. Prizes are provided by the DCE PTO and Durbin Creek Elementary School.

​

REMAINING PROCEEDS: The remaining net proceeds of this raffle will be used by the DCE PTO to purchase materials and supplies for the DCE STEM program.

 

HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS: Tickets must be purchased online via the CheddarUp Collections page. Tickets will not be sold in person. Tickets are available from August 1, 2023 at 12:00 am through August 9, 2023 at 3:30 pm. No purchase necessary to win, free ticket limited to one per family.

ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER: Raffle tickets may be purchased ONLY BY INDIVIDUAL PERSONS WHO ARE EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER as of the date of purchase. 

​

DRAWING: One winner will be selected for each of the three prizes in a Facebook Live at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, on the Durbin Creek Elementary PTO Facebook Page. All entrants for the Raffle will be added to the Wheel of Names Random Name Picker.

​

HOW TO CLAIM A PRIZE: The Winners will be notified by Email after the Facebook Live on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Winner will coordinate prize receipt with PTO.

​
